Project Description: IKEA Szczecin
Following this sustainable trajectory, IKEA integrated advanced rainwater harvesting capabilities into its new store in Szczecin, Poland, in the summer of 2020. Utilizing highly efficient and ecological Biovitor filters, rainwater from the shopping center’s entire roof area is recycled. System operations are managed by the ARGUS 7K rainwater central control unit.
Biovitor technology is the world’s leading solution for rainwater recovery. This GreenLife solution guarantees not only high-quality treated water but also an unlimited filter lifespan, minimal maintenance requirements, and a process entirely free of chemicals for both purification and upkeep.
